As previously mentioned, the tip of the exhaust was bent (and unfortunately the bumper slightly ) on the 02 during delivery. Since I’m still waiting for the US title and PA tag, I figured that now is a great time to upgrade and install a new muffler. The car’ s first stop after I enjoy it for a few weeks will be for inspection and to get the carbs tuned up (which it makes sense to have the new exhaust installed for anyway. ) I also just got a raise so ya know TREAT YO SELF.
It’s an ANSA Sport. The car already sounds amazing, but this should put the icing on the cake and give it a little nicer look w/ a second pooper and the angled cut.
I don’t normally post at night time. So if you’ve missed the saga. I bought and imported a 1975 BMW from Holland. It’s a 1502 with an engine from an 1802 and a ton of mods.

Does that ANSA exhaust come with the sweet orange-red stickers/paint that go inside the tips?

You can’t tell from the pics, but it’s already pretty low. I have to be super carful going in and out of my driveway. It’s on springs and adjustable shocks. I’d go lower if it’ll make it corner flatter but I think I’d do struts and or sways first. At this point I’m just itching to drive it.

That’s a good question. The pic of the ones that I ordered had the red/orange around the outside where it changes from chrome to black, not sure about the tips. Might look funny on a green car, but I guess we’ll see!

Ah, the other cool ANSA exhaust style!
If it doesn’t have red-orange paint inside, then grab some sandpaper, some masking tape, and red-orange brake caliper paint and get to work!

Why do you want a muffler on it?
No muffler, resonator, none of that shit. It will sound glorious!

Luckily exhaust parts are cheap for it! I will probably do that eventually. I just wanted to replace the bent piece for now.
